Listening for Meaning in the Noise of Everyday Life
This event provides an opportunity for undergraduate students of all denominations to gather and explore how to connect spiritual life with everyday life. It is free and available to all current undergraduate students attending public universities and community colleges. Several workshop and small group experiences offer resources and skill discovery for students to explore discovered talents and interests and link these with opportunities and needs of the community and the world. Workshop topics include: The Enneagram Journey to Self Discovery, Centering Prayer, The Sound of Your Genuine, Not All Who Wander are Lost: Finding Your True North, and What is a Spiritual Practice.
The event will be held at Chapel of the Cross, located next to the main campus of the University of North Carolina at 304 East Franklin Street, Chapel Hill. It will take place from 9:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. with follow-up activities continuing through 3:00 P.M.
